The council hopes to be able to use the new cafe bar area for things such as small evening performances, world and minority music events, a stand up comedy club, youth theatre and Bollywood performances, along with the reintroduction of the successful Fish and Flicks and Music in the Bar programmes.

The 'Star' Cafe Bar is open for lunch, 12 midday until 2pm, Monday to Friday. Customers old and new will be most welcome.
