The Energize programme offers a range of activities to keep children occupied. It runs throughout every school holiday. The programme offers activities to suit all tastes from sports to arts and crafts.
Attractions
The council runs a number of attractions, including the award-winning Normanby Hall Museum and Country Park. It also has a role in promoting local attractions to North Lincolnshire residents and visitors.

You can now book and pay for your Normanby Hall season tickets online! Simply use the new Normanby Hall season tickets online link, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Normanby Hall. Choose the date that you are buying your ticket, and then your ticket type, before following the instructions to pay.
The 'Star' cafe bar at the Plowright is now open.
The Plowright Theatre has undergone a major refurbishment of its restaurant to modernised its facilities and décor. The exciting development has increased the seating capacity and enabled the space to become more versatile and able to cater for more diverse functions.
The council hopes to be able to use the new cafe bar area for things such as small evening performances, world and minority music events, a stand up comedy club, youth theatre and Bollywood performances, along with the reintroduction of the successful Fish and Flicks and Music in the Bar programmes.
The 'Star' Cafe Bar is open for lunch, 12 midday until 2pm, Monday to Friday. Customers old and new will be most welcome.
North Lincolnshire Museum
William Fowler of Winterton exhibition
Opens October 5 until January 16, 2011.
A look into the life and work of William Fowler, architect and artist, who worked in Winterton during the Georgian and Regency periods.
This exhibition will feature highlights from his varied decorative arts work, architecture, furniture, mosaic and stained glass engravings, which showcases the national importance of his work. Step into Fowlers workshop and discover how he went about creating his work.

The Pods
The council and Scunthorpe Town Team, with support from Yorkshire Forward, are creating a new sports complex called The Pods. The Pods will provide a high quality sports facility for Scunthorpe. This will establish the town as a first class leisure destination.

Baths Hall moves a step closer
The council is now making significant progress towards turning Scunthorpe's Baths Hall into a landmark new entertainment venue fit for the 21st century.
Meeting rooms to let
The council's cultural services have available a number of venues with a variety of rooms to let. Whether it is a meeting for two people or a 350 person conference there will be a room to suit all budgets and occasions. All venues and rooms are able to call on in-house technical services, expertise and appropriate event catering.
