Business

Whether you're looking to invest, set up a business or relocate, North Lincolnshire provides an ideal location for companies to thrive. The region offers businesses prime site locations and high quality premises, as well as a thriving economy with a skilled workforce.

North Lincolnshire is uniquely placed to offer businesses an extensive rail, ports, air and road infrastructure that acts as a global gateway providing direct access to the UK and the rest of world. The South Humber Bank is attracting significant global interest as the last remaining strategic development site that fronts a deep-water estuary in the UK, which provides endless opportunities for business and economic growth.

The region is home to a wide range of businesses including five power stations, two major oil refineries and steel works, as well as helping to nurture small business growth across a wide range of sectors. For more information on North Lincolnshire's economy visit the Investing in North Lincolnshire page.

The council can help businesses with everything from advice about starting business, site and property availability, through to information on how to grow your business and limit your impact on the environment.

The council recognises the importance of keeping businesses up to date with news and information, including through our range of business publications and events.

The Economic Development team at North Lincolnshire Council want to hear from you about how your business has been affected by the economic downturn. An online survey has been set-up for you to give us feedback on the issues that have affected your business since the economic downturn began.

We want to hear from businesses of all sizes in all sectors and completing the survey should only take five to 10 minutes. The survey has been designed to provide us with unique information that is not already available via the Yorkshire Forward Business Survey.

This is your chance, as a business in North Lincolnshire, to have your say on how North Lincolnshire Council can help you during the current difficult economic climate.
