A guide to travel planning

Travel plans have an important role to play in reducing traffic congestion, improving the environment, and providing econmical, efficient and social benefits to an employer and its workforce.

We've produced a guide to give developers and business a clear understanding on how to produce effective travel plans. The guide also shows how they can secure these through the planning process.

The guide emphasises the importance of integrating both transport and planning obligations. And it makes it clear what the travel plan requirements will be in the planning application and why they are needed.

'A Guide to Travel Planning', contains information based on experience which we think will prove useful in implementing a travel plan.
