How do I apply for a pass?
Concessionary fare passes are available for:
- People over 61 (you no longer qualify for a pass on your 60th birthday)
- People with certain disabilities.
To ensure you are eligible for an over 60 concessionary pass please use the online Ready Reckoner available on the Directgov website.
Where can I apply for my pass?
You can apply for your pass at any of the following places:
When you apply for your pass we will check that you are eligible and take your photograph. Your pass will arrive by post a few days later.
What do I need to apply?
- Proof of your age, an official document that shows your date of birth - a birth certificate, driving licence or passport
- Proof of your address (you must be a resident of North Lincolnshire) A recent gas or electricity bill addressed to you will do.
- Proof of eligibility for a disabled concessionary pass
Note: There is no charge for the pass
Your travel pass is issued subject to North Lincolnshire Council's conditions:
- North Lincolnshire passes are only available to people who usually live within the North Lincolnshire boundary.
- The pass is not transferable. it may be used only by the person to whom it was issued too.
- Possession of a pass does not grant you the right to a place or seat on any particular bus or train.
- Pass holders must abide by the conditions of the bus or rail operators. You may be required to show your pass at any time on your journey.
- The Council accepts no liability for any loss, injury or inconvenience incurred as a result of using a pass.
- The Council reserves the right to amend the terms of the concessionary travel scheme and to withdraw, amend or replace any pass.
