Payments of a parking fine (standard charge notice) can be made by any of the following ways:

- Debit card

- Cheque
- Postal order

Cheque/cash/postal order payments can be made in person at Church Square House and all other Local Link offices (excluding Crosby).
Debit/credit card payments can be made in person at Church Square House and Hewson House, Brigg or by telephone - 01724 297473.
Online payments can be made using our online payments service (please select "Miscellaneous" from the list of payment options. On the next page select "Car Parking Services" under Service, and then select the item you wish to make a payment for).
Opening hours:
- Monday to Thursday 9am to 4.30pm
- Friday 9am to 4pm
If payment is made by 10am on the seventh working day, a discount of £30 will apply, making the charge payable £30.
Please note: Car park attendants cannot accept payments.
Objections
All appeals or objections must be made in writing by either:
- Online objection form.
- A letter addressed to Parking Services, Church Square House, PO Box 42, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN15 6XQ.

- Written objection form. The form is available to download below. You can also get the form from any Local Link office.

Appeals must include the standard charge notice number, car registration number and the driver’s full name and address.
To appeal against the issue of a standard charge notice and to take advantage of the seven working day discount period, a payment of £30 must be made by the seventh working day after the standard charge notice was issued. Payment can be made by enclosing a cheque/postal order (not cash) with your letter of appeal, or online on this website as mentioned above (under methods of payment).
All objections will be answered by letter. This may be outside of the seven working day discount period. Staff are unable to comment by telephone on the outcomes of any objections.
Enforcement
Off-street parking is enforced by the 'North Lincolnshire Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 1996'.
Drivers may be issued with a standard charge notice for:
- Parking a vehicle without displaying a valid ticket (includes ticket being out of time, transferred from other non-eligible car park or other driver). This does not apply in the 'Pay on Foot' site
- Displaying a long-stay ticket in a short stay car park
- Not parking wholly within the lines of a marked bay
- Parking in a traffic lane or keep clear area
- Parking in a bay not available for that particular class (disability bays, motorcycle bays)
- Not displaying/ incorrectly displaying a valid disabled badge (blue parking card)
- Using a disabled badge card when the holder is not present in vehicle when parking or leaving the car park
- Displaying an expired disabled badge
- Displaying an expired season ticket or displaying in a short stay car park
The standard charge for a standard charge notice is £60, which you are required to pay (as outlined above)within 14 days of the issue of the Notice. If paid within seven working days a discounted rate of £30 applies.
