Roads

The M180 and M18 motorways connect North Lincolnshire to the M62 Trans-Pennine route and the A1 and M1 north-south routes. The Humber Bridge provides a gateway to the north east of England.

Rail

Scunthorpe, Crowle and Barnetby are on the North East Trans-Pennine railway, which connects to the East Coast Main Line at Doncaster, offering easy access to London.

Water

North Lincolnshire's position on the Humber Estuary has allowed the area to take full advantage of trading opportunities with other northern European countries. There are wharf facilities at ten locations along the Humber and Trent, while the docks at Grimsby and the docks and ferry port at Hull are both within easy reach.

Air

Humberside International Airport has been operating from Kirmington in North Lincolnshire since 1974.
