Transport and streets

Looking after 800 miles of roads, 1,000 miles of footpaths and 22,000 street lights, the council works hard to maintain the road and footpath network in North Lincolnshire.

The council is a member of the North Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership. This brings together all organisations with an interest in road safety in a bid to reduce the number of accidents on the area's roads.

The council can provide information on public transport in the North Lincolnshire area. A concessionary fares scheme is also available offering free or half fare travel to older people and people with disabilities.
