Carers' Strategy

The Carers’ Strategy aims to give an overview of the work we plan to do with carers. The strategy has been written and edited by the carers’ forum. The forum meets every two months and its members represent:

  • carers
  • the main carers’ support organisations
  • the council
  • local health services
  • the voluntary sector.

The strategy aims sets out:

  • what we mean by ‘carers’
  • what we are doing for and with carers in North Lincolnshire
  • how carers can expect to be treated
  • what our plans are for the future.

This includes carers of adults and children with disabilities.

The strategy is available to download:

If you have any comments on the strategy or how well or badly you feel we treat carers in North Lincolnshire, the carers’ forum would like to hear from you. Please contact the Carers Support Centre on 01652 650585.
