Life begins at 50 month aims to celebrate the contribution that people aged 50 and over make to life in North Lincolnshire.
We want to challenge the traditional stereotypes that exist about ageing, and raise awareness of the services, activities and support available in North Lincolnshire.
To inform you about the month, a diary of events has been produced detailing a wide range of events and activities available to you in the area. It has been split into different localities and then broken down into days of the week so that you can easily find out what is happening near you.
The month of events kicks off with the International Day of Older People on 1 October. And in addition to the diary of events, there are a selection of one-off activities planned to celebrate the month. You will find details of these events below.
And you can also watch a video of some of the events offered to over 50s in North Lincolnshire.
You can obtain a copy of the Life Begins at 50 diary at North Lincolnshire Council and NHS premises, or from the Fresh Start office on 01724 277906.
Or you can download a PDF copy of the diary.
