What can you expect to happen?
Adult Social Services also has a Supporting People service that provides the housing related support some people need to stay as independent as possible.
It works closely with public, private and voluntary sector partners to meet the social and health care needs of local people. Some services are provided by Adult Social Services directly, others are purchased from external service providers.
It's there to help people live as independently as they can. Staff will talk to individuals and with their families where appropriate to agree what people need and the best way to provide it. The eligibility criteria ensures people with the most urgent needs get priority.
