PR 2980<
North Lincolnshire Council can exclusively reveal the first draft pictures of Scunthorpe’s remodeled and redesigned Building Schools for the Future (BSF) schools.
The images are working documents. BSF is a living project and these plans will be developed as the programme progresses.
Building Schools for the Future is a once in a lifetime opportunity to transform education. North Lincolnshire has been awarded £80m from the Government to make its BSF vision a reality.
North Lincolnshire Council's BSF web pages gives pupils, parents, grand parents and the community the latest news on their BSF school. The web pages are available 24/7. They give local residents, no matter what their age, information about how BSF can benefit them as well as the younger generations.
These latest images follow new design criteria for inspirational buildings. Open spaces, glass walls and vibrant colours will match the enthusiasm and potential of the pupils and staff they serve.
Each school will specialise in different educational subjects – working together to build a campus for learning in North Lincolnshire. The architectural designs work with the schools individual educational strengths and will help pupils achieve their maximum potential.
The draft pictures are the first visual images of the new BSF schools. They are artist impressions for how the new schools may look. North Lincolnshire and its young people are entering an exciting time. By working together with pupils, parents, teachers and local residents the council will build schools that young people deserve.
