The Humber Bridge

One of Europe’s longest single span suspension bridges, The Humber Bridge was opened by the Queen in 1981.

The road reaches a height of 30m above the river, with a footpath and cycle route giving panoramic views of East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire (pedestrian and cycle access from Far Ings Road).

The finest views of the Humber Bridge and River are from the Barton Clay Pits extending for 8 km along the river bank.
