General:
Dimmer racks are Strand Permus and are rated at 2Kw per channel. There are 60 channels and the maximum permissible loading of the dimmer racks is 20Kw per phase of the three phase supply.
All channel socket outlets are 15 amp, 3 pin and each socket is marked with its channel number and phase.
Control Desk:
Strand LBX memory desk with Genius software and designers remote control. Dimmer protocol is D54 and a softpatch facility is available. The desk is situated in the LX box at the rear of the auditorium, an operation position is available in the auditorium but this needs to be requested before tickets go on sale.
Lighting Bars:
FOH
5 circuits are available (1-5 & 7-11) each side of the auditorium and can be patched on the Fly floor.
ADVANCE BAR (approx. 3.75m in front of Tab line).
- 16 pre-wired lines available which can be patched on the fly floor. (6,12,20 & 50-54).
BAR 1 (fixed bar on Tab line).
- 11 pre-wired circuits available which can be patched on the Fly floor ( 13-19 & 42-49).
BAR 2 (approx. 3m from Tab line, winch bar) 250 Kg SWL.
- 12 pre-wired circuits available which can be patched on the Fly floor ( 21-26 & 55-60).
BAR 3 (approx. 6m from Tab line, winch bar). 250Kg SWL.
- "S" type cyc batten normally hung here, 6 circuits available ( 27-30 & 40,41).
APRON BOOMS (available on request).
Dips:
- 2 circuits upstage right (38 & 39).
- 1 circuit downstage right (37).
- 2 circuits upstage left (35 & 36).
- 1 circuit downstage left (34).
- 3 circuits upstage right adjacent to cyc (31-33).
Follow Spot:
Strand 818 2Kw follow spot & 1Kw CCT CSI follow spot located in the LX box at the rear of the auditorium.
