Events and activities marked with an * means that they can only accommodate a limited number of people and must be booked in advance. Any numbers in brackets indicates the number that can be accommodated.

Sunday 28 March:

Free Open Day, 10.30am to 4.30pm.
Take advantage of free entry to the park. Bring your family and friends for a great day out. Enjoy the beautiful parkland and gardens in spring, and see what the Hall and Farming Museum have to offer.

Sunday 4 April and Monday 5 April

Easter Egg Hunt,1pm to 4pm.
The Easter Bunny has hidden wooden eggs around the park. See how many you can find and win a prize.

Wednesday 14 April

RHS Event - Vegetable Growing Made Easy
Discover how to plan and plant a vegetable garden in the inspiring surroundings of the Victorian kitchen garden. With advice on the best varieties to use, pest control, seed sowing and planting demonstrations and practicals, this will help you to grow your own fresh and tasty vegetables. (30)

Saturday 17 April

Star Light Star Bright*, 7.30pm.
Meet in the main car park. An excellent opportunity to celebrate the spring stars with one of the countries leading experts, Paul Money. Join us as he unravels the mysteries of the universe & gives us a rare tour of the celestial sky at night, and weather permitting, see it close up! Warm soup provided. (40) £7.00

Classic and Vintage Cars, 10.30am to 4.30pm
All marques welcome by the Lincolnshire Austin A30 / A35 Owners Club.

Saturday 1 May, Sunday 2 May and Monday 3 May

Model Engineers Festival, 10am to 4.30pm.
Models, miniature steam vehicles, and the railway engines running all day. Train rides available from 1pm.

Sunday 2 May

Dawn Chorus*, 5.30am.
Meet in the main car park. Be part of the 'International Dawn Chorus Day' and listen to the world's oldest wake up call. Come along for a gentle stroll and learn all about bird song and behaviour in the park's wonderful surroundings. To reward you for your early morning efforts round it all off with a bacon butty and a mug of tea. (20) £7.00

Sunday 9 May

Beekeeping Taster Day.
A short course especially designed for those with little or no knowledge of bees or beekeeping. This one day course is the ideal opportunity to get an idea of what it would be like to keep bees. £40 for more information and to book call 01724 860660 (Participants must be 16yrs+)

Friday 14 May

Portrait of a Lady, 7.30pm to 9pm.
The eternal quest to portray the ideal woman an enchanting insight into the creation of beauty in the late 18th century. Inspired by contemporary paintings, journals and costume items. £14.95 includes coffee and cake. (70)

Sunday 30 May

Normanby Regional Food Festival, 10.30am to 4.30pm.
A celebration of the region's finest produce. Cooking demonstrations, tastings and equipment for sale. Plus music, dancing and fairground rides, making this a great day out for all the family. Admission charged from 9.30am.

Monday 31 May

Teddy Bear Trail, 1pm to 4pm.
Look for the bears, which are hiding around the park.

Wednesday 2 June and Thursday 3 June

Bears' Booknic (National Family Week), 12pm to 3.30pm.
North Lincolnshire Libraries invite all children to bring their favourite teddy to a picnic and story time. Bring your own picnic. Stories will start at 1.30pm. Under-eights must be accompanied by an adult.

Sunday 6 June

Scunthorpe Telegraph Motor Show, 10.30am to 4.30pm.
A family day out giving you the opportunity to see all the latest cars in one beautiful outdoor showroom. There will also be a one-off opportunity to see the Lincolnshire Section of the Vincent Motor Cycle Owner's Club exhibiting motor bikes dating from the 1940s and 50s.

Friday 11 June

An Evening with the Housekeeper*, 7pm to 9.30pm.
Drive in the main entrance, park in front of the Regency Hall and join the Housekeeper for a welcome drink and a special tour of the Hall. £11.50 includes a light supper. Telephone bookings only. (25)

Saturday 12 June and Sunday 13 June

Beginners' Beekeeping Course.
The course follows the British Beekeepers' Association (BBKA) syllabus and is designed to give a basic grounding in beekeeping. Instruction will be both theoretical and practical and will involve handling live honeybees. Protective clothing will be provided. £80 including light refreshments. Mini Day, 10.30am to 4.30pm.
Held in the South Lodge Rally area of the Park. Bring the family to see a superb collection of this revolutionary car from the 60's. (Access via South Lodge, separate entry fee applies)

Free Train Ride Weekend, 1pm to 3.30pm.
Hosted by Scunthorpe Model Engineers (donations accepted.)

Space Hoppers Bop, 1pm to 3pm.
Children's drop-in session to mark the start of North Lincolnshire Libraries' Summer Reading Challenge 2010. Come and join library staff for fun and games, and find out all about this year's challenge. Are you up to it? Under eights must be accompanied by an adult.

A unique opportunity to learn all about natures great recyclers with a leading expert. Join him on a gentle Foray through the parks' splendid surroundings to find these mysterious and beautiful organisms. (25) £5.

Enjoy family fun and see the wonderful display of pumpkins and gourds in the spookily decorated Farm Museum. Enter our competition for the biggest home grown pumpkin and, for children only, a competition for the best decorated pumpkin.

Monday 25 October and Wednesday 27 October

Poetry in the Park, 1.30pm and 2.30pm
Stride out on a children's poetry trail led by North Lincolnshire Library staff. Hear a variety of poems for all the family. Bookings taken from 4 October, please telephone 01724 860161 to reserve your child's place. Under eights must be accompanied by an adult.

Halloween Half Term, 1pm to 3pm daily.
Why not bring the kids to visit the spooky Farming Museum during half term, and enjoy the 'Crafty Kids' activities?

Halloween Trick or Treat in the Spooky Farming Museum, 1pm to 3pm. Competitions judged at 2.30pm.
The perfect start to trick or treating, bring the kids in fancy dress with their lanterns and enter our free Fancy Dress Competitions for the under five and over fives, plus 'Crafty Kids activities'. First, second and third prizes awarded. (All children in fancy dress will receive a treat)
