Family fun days take place at North Lincolnshire Museum. The events offer family fun for children of all ages and are run on the following dates:
Saturday 10 December
Victorian Christmas family fun day. Come along to help decorate our Victorian cottage and if you're lucky you may even meet Santa. Make themed decorations and enjoy the Victorian atmosphere.
Saturday 18 February
Gadget and gizmos Victorian fun day, 10.30am to 3.30pm.
To celebrate the opening of the brand new gadget and gizmo exhibition we are holding a Victorian family fun day. Take part in Victorian crafts, step inside the Victorian cottage and see what characters come to life from Victorian times. Plus competitions, trails and prizes to be won.
Drop in event, £1 per child. Last admission to take part in activities 3pm.
Saturday 31 March
Easter egg hunt 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Hunt for Easter clues hidden in the galleries and grounds of the Museum. Win prizes and enjoy family fun activities.
Free drop in event.
Friday 18 May
Museum at night, 5pm to 8pm.
Prepare to step into the spooky Museum, watch out for museums ghosts, which may follow you around the Museum. Free craft activity and trails.
Free admission, no need to book just turn up. Open to organised children’s parties. Contact the museum for details.
Saturday 21 July
Stories through suitcases fun day - 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Come along to join in the free world culture celebrations and visit our brand new exhibition inspired by local communities throughout North Lincolnshire. Local community performances, creative world culture themed activities and prizes to be won.
Free admission. Last chance to take part in activities on the day is 3pm.

Heritage open day, trade and travel, 10.30am until 3.30pm.
To celebrate this years Heritage open weekend come along to our free fun day and learn about North Lincolnshire’s communities. Take a look around the Stories through Suitcases exhibition, take part in trails and enjoy object handling.
Drop in session; last chance to take part in the activity is 2.45pm on the day.
Saturday 6 October
Free Big Draw fun, 10.30am until 3.30pm.
As part of National Big Draw month come along to help make a giant suitcase and help draw and select a range of objects to go inside. Inspired by the Stories through suitcases exhibition. The completed piece will then go on display in the Museum.
Drop in event, last chance to take part in the activity is 2.45pm on the day.
Friday 26 October
Halloween comes to the Museum, 4pm to 8pm.
Come along and see the spooky Museum at night and what comes to life after dark. Wander through the dark galleries and watch out for strange shadows and sounds. Ghost stories and scary masks to make and wear, guaranteed to be spine-tingling. Suitable for children aged eight-years and above.
£1 per child, last chance to take part in activities is 7.30pm.
Saturday 27 October
Free pumpkin day event, 10.30am and 3.30pm.
To celebrate Halloween come along to the spooky Museum, enjoy spooky trails and free crafts. Take part in the pumpkin day trail. Make pumpkin inspired activities to take home and enjoy free fun.
Drop in event, Suitable for five-year-oilds and over. Last chance to take part in the activities 2.45pm on the day.
Saturday 8 December
