It's a Plaything!
Join us for a celebration of treasured toys - those you remember and the ones you still love to play with.
When was it for you? Was it when Scalextric was king of the highways and Sindy was the Belle of the Ball?
For many of us, toys evoke memories of that golden time when you were young and perhaps carefree. It's a Plaything at North Lincolnshire Museum features treasured toys old and new loaned by local people. The collection includes well loved thunderbirds, Sindy, Action Man and Girls World.The popularity of many toys goes in cycles as new generations rediscover their magic for themselves.
The focal point of the show will be a circus big top. Here you can take part ina range of activities including crafts, toy boxes and story books. Other activities will include a dressing up area, market stall and shop play area.
