The social history collection comprises a wide range of objects relating to community, domestic, personal and working life in North Lincolnshire. The types of objects to be found in the collection include:

  • Agricultural and rural craft tools
  • Household items
  • Militaria
  • Material relating to various forms of transport
  • Medical equipment
  • Toys.

Highlights in the collection include:

  • The Haxey Hood and Plough Jag
  • The Normanby Estate Fire Engine
  • The First Johnson's Motorcycle.
