Using The People's Network

You will normally be required to be a member of the library to use the facilities if you live or work in North Lincolnshire or intend to use the services frequently. Please make sure that you have your library card with you.

The facilities are open to visitors who are in the area temporarily. We may ask for proof of identification in order to provide you with guest membership

You can book a computer for up to an hour in advance. You can also drop in to any library to see if there are any free computers. You will need to let staff know if you require any particular ICT facilities, such as:

  • A scanner
  • Large print keyboards
  • Magnifying software.

The library service operates an acceptable use policy. We ask all users to abide by this policy.

All library internet terminals operate a filtering policy. This is designed to filter out highly offensive or illegal material on the internet.

Library staff need to keep records of how often ICT facilities are used. They may also occasionally ask you to fill in user surveys.
