Using laptops in libraries

We are quite happy for you to use your laptop in any North Lincolnshire Library, but please make sure that your battery is fully charged. Due to the age and nature of our library buildings you will not be able to plug your laptop into the library power supply.

To avoid disrupting other library users please make sure that any sound effects on your laptop are switched off.

Please note that we are not able to provide internet access for laptop users in North Lincolnshire libraries.

North Lincolnshire Central Library and Brigg Library

If you are in the middle of your work and your battery runs out we do have the facilities on the first floor of the Central Library and at Brigg Library for you to run your laptop from the mains power. To protect your computer you must use the circuit breaker that we will provide you with. Please ask the staff if you need to use this facility.

For further information email North Lincolnshire Libraries at library.enquiries@northlincs.gov.uk.
