Online Reading Room

Once you have joined North Lincolnshire Libraries you can access a wide range of free online resources to assist you in your work, your study or for pleasure. The Reading Room brings together these materials in one place.

Many of these resources can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection 24/7. This means that you can use them from home or work, even when the library is closed. Simply log in with your library card number.

Some can only be accessed within particular North Lincolnshire Library branches. Library staff will be pleased to help you access these resources and help you to log in.

Click on the links below to discover the many free online resources from North Lincolnshire Library and Information Services.

Don't yet have a library card? Don't worry. Joining the library is easy and it's free.

In the meantime you can explore the other areas of the reading room for resources available without a library card.

  • Journal rack
Links to some of the free fulltext journal available online
  • Magazine table
A range of titles and links to magazines and other resources on the web
  • Newspaper rack
Selections of all the usual newspapers and one or two that may be new to you
  • Reference shelf
    Our online quick reference desk.

If you have any suggestions for things you would like to see featured in the Reading Room please email your ideas to us at ref.library@northlincs.gov.uk.
