Services for blind and partially sighted people

The council offers a range of services for people of all ages who are visually impaired:

Reading aids

All North Lincolnshire libraries have magnifying aids available for use in the library.

There is normally a charge for borrowing CDs, cassettes and talking books, but these are all available free of charge for visually impaired borrowers.

All People's Network computers in libraries have an on-screen magnification facility. All libraries are also able to provide at least one trackerball mouse and large print keyboard on request - for use with library computers.
