How to join the library

Joining your local library is easy; membership is free and open to everyone.

To join you simply need to visit your local library, bringing along acceptable proof of your name and address.

Children and young people under 16 years old must have their registration card signed by a parent or guardian, again accompanied with acceptable proof of their name and address. There is no lower age limit for children joining the library.

Once you have your library membership card you can start borrowing the books and other items available for loan. You can also use your card to access library computers and use online reference resources.

Of course, you do not need to be a member of a library to use the many facilities (e.g. newspapers, books, etc.) available within any of North Lincolnshire libraries - it is only necessary if you wish to borrow something from the library or use a computer.

Join online now

You can also join online to reserve books and use the Online Reading Room straightaway.

Simply visit the library catalogue and click on "Join online".

To use the full range of library services, just collect your ticket from any library in North Lincolnshire, bringing acceptable proof of your name and address.
