National Children's Book Week

National Children's Book Week falls in the first full week in October. All over the country schools, bookshops and libraries hold events to celebrate the variety of children's literature available.

Authors, poets, illustrators and librarians join in with programmes of activities, sharing their enthusiasm about reading of every kind.

North Lincolnshire Libraries and Information Services will be celebrating with storytimes, poetry sessions, book activities and displays.

We want all young people to experience the pleasure of sharing a book or story, and what better way than by visiting the local library?

If you would like to know more about National Children's Book Week in North Lincolnshire please contact Colin Brabazon (Assistant Library & Information Manager: Children & Young People) on 01724 860161 or by email at library.enquiries@northlincs.gov.uk
