- Enter the online catalogue.
- On the left of the screen is a grey margin with catalogue search options. Scroll down to the last link on the left marked “Borrower Information” and click on it.
- Type your library card and PIN number into the on screen boxes.
- You can now see your borrower record. You can view your loans, check their due dates, and see whether they are requested or overdue. [There is also an option to change your PIN if you would like to do so.]
- You can renew books individually using the renew button at the end of each row, or renew them all at once using the Renew All button at the bottom of the page.
- Once you have clicked on the button of your choice, you will see the details of the book(s) or other item(s) and the new return date. HOWEVER, until you scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on the “Proceed” button, the renewal(s) is(are) not complete. If you have a printer attached to your PC and wish to print a record of this transaction with the due dates and date of renewal, use CTRL + P before selecting “Proceed”.
- If you choose the bulk renewal, please check the due dates of the individual books, as these may vary.
- The system only allows 2 renewals of the “unseen”** kind for each item borrowed, and this might be further restricted if the item has been requested. If the item is not requested and you wish to keep it longer still after two unseen renewals, simply take the book to your local library and we can reissue it for you.
