You can check the library catalogue and renew your loans through the online library catalogue.

You can also reserve items online.

Email messages

If you have given us your email address, we can now send your library reminder and reservation notices directly to your inbox.

Reservation available notices

We will send you an email on the day your reserved item becomes available.

Pre-overdue reminders

We can send you an email reminder shortly before your loans are due for return. To set this up online, use your library card number and PIN to log in to the online catalogue. In the personal record section make sure your email details are correct. Then select email for your pre overdue reminders and save the changes.

Overdue notices

We will send you an email if your books are 15 days late and another if you have not returned them after 39 days. If we send you an overdue notice by email these will not incur any of the printing, production, or postage costs currently associated with our paper notices. These notices will therefore be sent to you free of charge.

Email notices for children

We can only send email notices to children if the child’s ticket is 'linked' to an adult family member, and we have the adult’s email address.
