For the 2008 National Year of Reading, North Lincolnshire Council teamed up with Vacansoleil Camping Holidays* to offer three lucky library users the chance to win a holiday voucher worth £350.
There were three separate draws as follows:
- First draw - entries accepted 1 July 2008 to 30 August 2008. Winner - Mrs J Carroll from Scunthorpe.
- Second draw - entries accepted 1 September 2008 to 31 October 2008 - Winner will be announced shortly.
- Third draw - entries accepted 1 December 2008 to 31 January 2009 - Winner will be announced shortly.
Going on holiday is the perfect time to catch up on your reading. For some people, it is only time they can relax from the pressures of everyday life and enjoy a good book.
Warning - borrowing from your local library may help to beat the credit crunch!

Terms and conditions of the prize draw
- There will be three prizes to be won. Each prize will consist of a voucher for £350 which can be exchanged for a camping holiday with Vacansoleil UK Ltd
- The first draw will run from 1 July 2008 to 30 August 2008 and the winner will be selected in early September 2008
- The second draw will run from 1 September 2008 to 31 October 2008 and the winner will be selected in early November 2008
- The third draw will run from 1 December 2008 to 31 January 2009 and the winner will be selected in early February 2009
- To be entered into each draw you must borrow two items within the draw period from a library that is located within North Lincolnshire.
- Entry to the competition is free
- One entry per household per prize draw
- No cash alternatives will be offered
- The prize is not transferable.
- Entrants must be aged 18 years or over
- Employees of North Lincolnshire Council's Community Planning and Resources service and their families may not enter
- Winners will be selected at random by an independent adjudicator. This decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into
- Winners will be notified by post within 21 days of the draw
- The winners agree to take part in any publicity requested by North Lincolnshire Council or Vacansoleil UK Ltd
- Details of the winners will be available in writing from Vacansoleil UK Ltd
- Data protection legislative requirements will be adhered to.
- Once winners are notified, all enquiries regarding their holiday should be directed to Vacansoleil UK Ltd
- Vacansoleil will not accept holiday bookings from single sex group of three people or more
