Customer commitment statement

We are committed to providing a quality service which meets our customer's expectations every time you visit the centre.

The standards that we are pursuing are as follows:

Availability of services

  • The availablity and times of all our services will be published in our customer information leaflets
  • Any forseen changes will be duly notified to our customers through the display of appropriate notices within the centre.
  • Any unforseen (emergency) interruptions to services that have been booked will result in refunds and/ or an offer of alternative services where possible.

Staff will be:

  • Trained and appropriately qualified
  • Easily identified by wearing uniform at all times
  • Identifiable through wearing name badges
  • Polite, helpful and informative at all times
  • Receptive to customer comments and able to act upon such comments to your satisfaction.

The leisure pool will be:

  • Maintained at a minimum temperature of 29°C
  • Safe and hygienic to swim in and tested regularly to ensure comfort and safety
  • Supervised by the recommended number of qualified and trained staff.

The health club and dry sports area will be:

  • Clean and safe
  • Furnished with equipment that is maintained regularly and in good working order
  • Set up in accordance with the requirements of the activity taking place
  • Ready for use within five minutes of the start of the class or activity booked when equipment changeovers are necessary (except where otherwise agreed in advance with the customer)
  • Illuminated, heated and ventilated where possible to ensure comfort and safe activity conditions.

All ancillary areas - changing rooms, showers and toilets will be:

  • Clean hygienic and in good working order
  • Checked by staff on a regular basis and remedial action taken when necessary
  • Maintained at a temperature which is comfortable and complimentary to other areas.

In general we will:

  • Ensure that the centre is clean, safe and well maintained
  • Maintain a balanced programme of activities and services which cater for the needs of the community
  • Maintain prices at a competitive and affordable level for all customers
  • Inspect the facility and services at regular intervals throughout the day and take any remedial action necessary
  • Undertake regular surveys of our customers to ensure that we meet their expectations
  • Pursue continuous improvements in all areas of our organisation.
