Exercise classes

Group fitness classes are a great way to get fit and have fun.

Why not try one of our classes in our new exercise studio! Classes are open to members and non-members no matter what level of fitness or ability.

Give it a try - you'll have fun.

Class timetable - from 3 January to 29 April 2012

Monday 9.30am-10.30am Zumba gold 10.30am-11.30am LBT 11am-12pm 50+ Gym 5.30pm-6.30pm Zumba toning 6.30pm-7.30pm Aerobics
Tuesday 10am-11am 50+ circuits   11am-12pm Line dancing 6pm-7pm Step 7pm-8pm Pilates (beginners)

Thursday 9am-10am Aquafit 10am-11am 50+ circuits   7pm-8pm Stability ball

Class descriptions

  • Circuits - A great workout for all-round fitness and total body conditioning
  • Aerobics - tradional areobics class for fitness and toning
  • LBT - comprises floor work and aerobic exercise, concentrating on those stubborn areas 
  • Pilates: A gentle but focused mat based exercise, which tones, stretches and mobilises the abdomen and back area - a class for anyone who wants to develop their individual core strength and improve their overall posture
  • Zumba - Join the Zumba revolution! Dance your way to fitness with exciting and unique latin moves and rhythms.
  • Zumba Gold - Slower and lower impact Zumba moves to suit the active, older participant as well as those starting their journey to a fitter lifestyle.
  • Zumba toning - Still the same great class but with more focus on toning.

Class booking conditions

  • It is advisable to book all classes in advance to guarantee your place
  • On arrival, please book in at reception and collect your receipt which is proof of activity payment
  • Health and fitness members and booking card holders can book classes by telephone eight days in advance
