Recently resurfaced, the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at Ancholme Leisure Centre offers a sand filled AstroTurf that is suitable for most weather conditions*.
The pitch caters for football and hockey and is available throughout the week on a 'pay and play' basis.
If you need a more long-term arrangement then you can block book, dependent on availability. Floodlights are also available, which also widens its availability.
Times of opening
- 9.30am to 10.30pm Monday - Friday
- 9.30am to 8.30pm Saturday and Sunday
*During adverse weather conditions, pitch inspections will take place at 1pm (or when deemed necessary) to ascertain pitch condition and the safety of the players.
All hirers will be notified of closures at the earliest convenience - the managements decision is final.
On target
On target is a football activity for boys and girls aged eight to 19-years. Held every Friday at 7pm (eight to 13-years) and 8pm (14 to 19-years) the sessions are free to all. Contact reception for further details.
NB. Parent consent form must be completed before first session - available from reception.
