The Baths Hall

We are pleased to announce that The Baths Hall is now open.

Cllr Keith Vickers formally opened the new entertainment centre for the region on Monday 7 November 2011. Following this, the official opening took place on Friday 11 November with a performance from Bill Bailey and guests.

The new venue includes an auditorium to cater for more than 1,000 seated and up to 2,000 for standing events.

The Baths Hall is being managed by SMG (UK) Ltd, one of the largest operators of sports and entertainments venues in the UK and Europe, working in partnership with the building's owners North Lincolnshire Council.

An investment of £15.3m from the council has seen the state of the art premises constructed in just 18 months on the site of the former Scunthorpe Youth Centre and Baths Hall.

Its design, led by the council's own architects, also incorporates cutting edge eco-friendly technology.

The building work was carried out by Scunthorpe-based Clugston Construction Ltd.

Tickets and more information are available on the Scunthorpe Theatres website and by telephone on 0844 854 2776.
