New entertainment venue

Proposed design

Major progress is now being made to provide North Lincolnshire with a brand new, landmark, £15-million entertainment venue.

The latest plans for the former Baths Hall site on Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe, have now been released and we are keen to get your feedback on them. You can view the designs and the plans below.

The new building will incorporate:

  • 2,000 people standing
  • 1,200 people seated
  • Conference facilities
  • Bar and café
  • Ticket office
  • Extensive backstage facilities

Building work is due to start in June 2009 and it should be completed by October 2010.

If you want more information why not have a look at the frequently asked questions? We also held drop-in sessions for local residents and the wider public.

The sessions gave everyone the chance to see the plans first hand and to speak to some of the people involved in the development of this project.

The first drop-in session was held on 12 September at the Royal Hotel on Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe. Further sessions were held on 26 and 27 September in The Foundry in Scunthorpe.
