Countryside
The council's countryside team works closely with local groups. These include:
- local
community
- landowners
- environmental
organisations
The
aim of these groups is to provide a countryside that is attractive and accessible
to the whole community. This is while safeguarding and enhancing the wildlife
and natural and historic features.
There
is a great variety of countryside in North Lincolnshire
for
local visitors to enjoy. Heathland, woodland, meadows,
moorland,
wetlands can all be found in this region.
Events
Throughout
the year a wide range of events are run by our countryside ranger service. These
include guided walks, activity days, conservation events and much more. For
