Countryside

The council's countryside team works closely with local groups. These include:

  • local community
  • landowners
  • environmental organisations

The aim of these groups is to provide a countryside that is attractive and accessible to the whole community. This is while safeguarding and enhancing the wildlife and natural and historic features.

There is a great variety of countryside in North Lincolnshire

for local visitors to enjoy. Heathland, woodland, meadows,

moorland, wetlands can all be found in this region.

Events

Throughout the year a wide range of events are run by our countryside ranger service. These include guided walks, activity days, conservation events and much more. For more information about future countryside events you can visit our events pages or contact the Local Nature Reserve Officer.
