Music4U

Music4U is the Humber Region Youth Music Action Zone. It is funded centrally by Youth Music and is a consortium of four regional authorities:

  • North Lincolnshire 
  • North East Lincolnshire
  • Hull City Council
  • East Riding City Council

This is a programme of music events and workshops especially designed for young people aged 0 to 18-years-old.

 

Over the past year the programme has run the following projects in North Lincolnshire:

  • Rock and music technology workshops at the Base
  • DJ sessions for children in care at the Base
  • Sing Stomp Move workshops as part of the Buzz
  • Music Café in drumming rock and dj at St Lawrence Academy
  • African drumming and singing sessions with St Hugh’s
  • Open Mic sessions as part of the Buzz
  • Taiko drumming workshops as part of the Buzz
