Arts development
The main role of the council’s Arts Development service is to help arts organisations and artists who live and work in North Lincolnshire. The aim is to work with them to develop a thriving arts community.
The council works with organisations and artists to:
- develop their own practice
- organise projects
- find funding.
It holds a database of local artists and art organisations. This is useful for answering enquiries from people wanting to join a local amateur group or organisations looking to employ an artist. To register your details on the database please contact Arts Development (details below).
North Lincolnshire forms part of the Humber Region Youth Music Action Zone, Music4U. This is a three-year programme of music events especially designed for young people.
The council also has a small grants scheme for organisations wanting to develop and organise a project. Applications forms are available from:
