Information for suppliers
We encourage artist and craft makers from the UK, Europe and particularly from the counties of Lincolnshire to apply to have work stocked in the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre shop. To be considered please submit the following by email to alison.cooksey@northlincs.gov.uk and caroline.twidle@northlincs.gov.uk or by post to 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, Church Square, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN15 6TB.
Submission requirements:
- Four to six images of the work you would like to sell in the gallery shop
- Either a retail price for each item or your artist's price per item (we will calculate the retail selling price from this figure)
- An artist statement about your work, a list of other venues (if any) you currently supply to and any exhibitions you have taken part in.
If you are successful we will ask for approximately 15 pieces initially for a three-month trial period. To maximise the sales for our artists we work on a commission rate of 30 per cent plus VAT on commission. All work will be displayed in locked showcases and will be insured whilst in our care.
We make payments every 60 days so you get paid for any work sold within that two-month period. You will also receive a printout of your stock sheet so that you can easily keep track of sales and stock.
We will also try to get a fair representation of your work onto our website.
If you are interested and would like to discuss this further, then please do not hesitate to contact Alison or Caroline on 01724 297070.
