Energize programme
The Energize
programme offers a range of activities to keep children occupied. It runs
throughout every school holiday. The programme offers activities to suit all
tastes from sports to arts and crafts.
Attractions
The council runs a number of attractions, including the award-winning Normanby
Hall Museum and Country Park. It also has a role in promoting local
attractions to North Lincolnshire residents and visitors.

North Lincolnshire Museum
North
Lincolnshire Museum is supporting local
artists in an exciting new exhibition where artists from the Scunthorpe
society art group will be exhibiting their artwork from 2 February until 28
February.
The
exhibition will also gives younger visitors the opportunity to pick up
a paintbrush and join in with fun activities during the exhibition.
Artwork
produced by members of the Scunthorpe society art group will also be on sale
in the Museum shop.

To
celebrate 60 years of Scunthorpe's Little Theater club this exhibition
will tell the story of the groups history, by reconstructing some different
scenes from plays performed by the group. Exhibition opens on
16 March until 13 June.

The Pods
The council and Scunthorpe Town Team, with support from Yorkshire Forward,
are creating a new sports complex called The Pods. The Pods will provide a high
quality sports facility for Scunthorpe. This will establish the town as a first
class leisure destination.

Iconic entertainment venue moves a step closer
The council is taking its first steps towards turning Scunthorpe's Baths Hall
into an iconic
new entertainment venue fit for the 21st century.
Free tickets for under 26-year-olds
A Night Less Ordinary is an Arts Council England scheme in association with
Metro, which will provide 618,000 free theatre tickets to anyone under 26 in
more than 200 venues across England. For more information about the scheme visit
