The council and its partners need a good understanding of housing needs and the housing market in the area to be able to provide the right housing in the right places. To ensure this is possible a number of strategies are carried out along with research into the housing needs and markets of North Lincolnshire.
Housing research
Housing research that has been carried out includes research into specific household groups to assess what types of housing needs providing and where for specific groups of people along with information about the local housing markets and the viability of providing affordable housing on private developments in North Lincolnshire.
Housing strategies
Several housing strategies have been developed to set out the council's approach to developing specific types of housing in North Lincolnshire. Some of these are supported by an action plan.
