Budgeting and debt advice

North Lincolnshire Council set up the Debt and Housing Advice Network in June 2008.

The Debt and Housing Advice Network (DAHN) is a network of the many member organisations that can help those at risk of losing their home through debt, with the following aim:

To work together to help anyone in North Lincolnshire with a debt problem to manage their debt and to stay in their home, where possible, if it is at risk.

In January 2009, a new advice directory was launched to help prevent people with debt problems from becoming homeless. The directory is a handy booklet that gives helpful advice to those who have debt problems. And gives key contact numbers of the various agencies that can help them.

The Network's budgeting and debt advice guide is available below.
