The council works with housing associations throughout the area to make sure that the local community have access to affordable homes.
Council housing
North Lincolnshire Council no longer owns or manages housing in North Lincolnshire. In 2007, all 'council housing' (now known as affordable housing) was transferred to North Lincolnshire Homes, a not-for-profit housing organisation.
Vision
North Lincolnshire Council's vision for housing in our area is:

To deliver this North Lincolnshire Council offers a range of housing services including information, advice and assistance. These are split into three areas:
Housing Advice Team
Provides information about housing options to housing association tenants, private renting tenants, and homeowners. The team also provides information and advice to people that are at risk of becoming homeless.

Private housing
The North Lincolnshire Council's Private Housing team works with homeowners, tenants and landlords to make homes in North Lincolnshire safe, decent and comfortable to live in. For more information:
Strategic housing
The council's strategic housing team is dedicated to meeting the housing needs of local people through assessing local housing needs and the local housing market. We work with private developers and housing associations to make new affordable homes available, to make sure all people in North Lincolnshire are able to live independently. For more information:
