The process to procure the host agency for North Lincolnshire LINk is progressing well. Invitations to tender for the host went out and a good number of organisations have returned tenders.
A small panel will evaluate these tenders towards the end of February. It's envisaged that the successful organisation will be in place ready to host the LINk by the beginning of April 2008.
A marketing campaign is about to start entitled ‘Who cares…about local health and social care services?’. Watch out for posters and leaflets across North Lincolnshire.
These aim to encourage interested people to register their interest in the LINk. This information will be passed onto the host agency so it has the beginning of a database to build upon.
If you wish to register your interest in the LINk please ring 01724 296105 and give your details. These will then be passed onto the host agency in April 2008 who will contact you to tell you of how to get involved.
The early work of the LINk and host agency will to be establishing the LINk and developing processes ands protocols for decision making. The input of people from across the area including those people often deemed hard to reach, is crucial in this early period. We therefore urge you to register your interest in the LINk to influence its development and ultimately the development of health and social care services in North Lincolnshire.
