Bulky or hazardous commercial waste

The council provides collections of bulky commercial waste (e.g. furniture) from trade premises.

Hazardous waste such as TVs, computer screens, fridges and freezers are classed as hazardous waste and need to be disposed of separately. These items should not be mixed with general waste.

In some circumstances waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), including these items, can be returned to the place of sale - please check with your supplier.

However, the council can collect these items. A charge will be levied for this service. Contact details are below.
