Commercial waste

The council provides waste collections to commercial and trade premises. Please visit our trade waste containers page for details including prices and sizes of containers.

The household recycling centre at Cottage Beck Road in Scunthorpe accepts commercial waste in any vehicle (except HGVs). This is charged by weight. For further information please contact the site operator, SITA North Lincolnshire on 01724 878100.

For alternative disposal routes for trade waste, please use your local Yellow Pages or search the internet for local service providers.

Businesses can also make use of online waste exchanges to help divert waste away from landfill. Here you can search for and advertise waste on exchange sites such as redundant stock, surplus raw materials and other waste that could be reused or recycled. For more details visit Why Waste? a free online waste exchange for businesses in Yorkshire and the Humber region.

Businesses can also contact CO2Sense, which aims to deliver a sustainable support programme for business growth opportunities so that Yorkshire and the Humber can lead the way in the recycling and reprocessing market place.

For information on waste and reycling collections from your home please visit our waste and recycling pages.
