There are eight household recycling centres in North Lincolnshire where you can take all types of household waste. This includes waste that we're unable to collect from your kerbside. The centres can be found at:
Each of these sites offer a full range of recycling facilities. Please click on the site name above for details of materials that can be recycled at each site. Trade waste is NO LONGER accepted at the Scunthorpe site.
The sites are provided for the exclusive use of North Lincolnshire residents. However, residents from the Lincolnshire County Council area can use the sites at Barnetby and Kirton in Lindsey.
Site users must make use of the recycling facilities and green waste skips. This saves money on waste disposal costs and helps to sustain the environment.
Permits may be available for residents transporting household waste in private vans and commercial type vehicles. Signwritten and hire vehicles are prohibited on all sites.
Charges are now made on brick rubble and soil waste that is brought to the household recycling centre. The council also charges for disposing of tyres. We accept all other household waste, including garden waste, on all sites free of charge.
From 1 July 2007 you will be able to recycle your unwanted electrical items and batteries at each of the eight Household Recycling Centres as part of the new WEEE Directive.
Site users must follow any instructions given by the site attendants.
Pedestrians are not allowed to access the household recycling centres.
