Opening times:

Monday to Sunday (open seven days)

  • 1 March - 31 October, 8am to 6pm
  • 1 November - 28/29 February, 8am to 4pm

Asbestos can only be taken between the following times Monday - Sunday (seven days):

  • 1 March to 31 October, 10am to 4pm
  • 1 November to 28/29 February, 10am to 2pm

During bank holidays all household recycling centres remain open as usual, with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day, when all sites close.

Commercial waste

The household recycling centre at Cottage Beck Road in Scunthorpe accepts commercial waste in any vehicle (except HGVs). This is charged by weight. For further information please contact the site operator, SITA North Lincolnshire on 07528 971731.
