The majority of households in North Lincolnshire are now on the alternate weekly waste and recycling collection scheme. Collection dates of your wheeled bins can be found on the calendar attached to your brown bin.
If you do not have a calendar, why not check out our new waste and recycling collections pages to find out when your wheeled bins will be collected over the next four weeks. If you would like a sticker of your collection dates, please telephone our Customer Helpline on 01724 297000.
We cannot collect...
- Excess waste
- Building materials
- Soil and rubble
- Some types of clinical waste
- Asbestos
- Large bulky items
- Toxic materials such as car batteries, motor oil, paint, corrosive materials
Please note the council has a policy of not collecting excess or side waste and for safety reasons bin lids should be closed.
Your green or grey bin is for the remaining waste which cannot be recycled. Remember, you can take lots of other materials and larger items to household recycling centres.
You can also have one free collection of up to three bulky items a year (1 April to 31 March) – call 01724 297000 to arrange a collection or visit our Bulky Collection Service page for more information or to apply online.
Note: You should put your bins out for collection at the edge of your property closest to the road. Bin collections start at 7am.
