The council also provides a recycling collection service for schools. Please visit our Schools recycling collections page for further information.

Recycling rolled out to schools

The council's successful recycling scheme (that has recently seen a sharp rise in recycling levels to 49 per cent) has now been rolled out to schools and council buildings.

Around 22,000 school children at 80 schools across North Lincolnshire can now recycle glass, cans, paper, cardboard and plastic bottles. Colleges are also taking part.

The council has also expanded the recycling scheme to more council buildings including youth centres, libraries and other council buildings.
