We run a special collection service for up to three bulky household items such as TVs and furniture. However if the item you want to dispose of is still in a good condition please see our furniture reuse schemes to find out if it could be reused by someone else.
We provide only one free collection per property in any financial year (1 April to 31 March). Any further requests for collections in the same financial year will be charged at £15 for up to three items.
You can complete an online version of the bulky item collection request form by clicking on the link below.
Alternatively, please call 01724 297000 to arrange for the collection of any bulky items of rubbish.
All bulky item collection requests are dealt with as soon as possible. Items need to be placed outside in an accessible location (such as, gates unlocked, no obstructions etc.) on the working day following the request and will be collected within 10 working days. Alternatively you can take your bulky household items to any of the eight household recycling centres.
