Online application register

You can use our online application register to:

  • Search for a planning application
  • Monitor the progress of an application
  • View conditions and reasons on all applications including refusals
  • View associated documents such as plans, decision notices and appeal decisions on applications registered from the 1 December 2005 (New planning applications will usually be available to view within three working days of validation)
  • Make comments about an application (please refer to the adjacent notes if you are concerned that your letter is not there for you to view)
  • Find out whether an appeal has been lodged. And if any appeal decision is made.

Information on the council's planning web site

We receive a large amount of correspondence in connection with applications and most of it will appear on the web site.To help us to prevent your personal details from appearing on the web site please read the following guidelines. Your personal details would be:

  • Your home telephone number
  • Your mobile telephone number
  • An email address
  • Your signature.

There is a document template which you can use to send us your comments on a planning application.

Standard Highway Conditions - consultation reply

When using the online register you may come across replies from the Highways team which contain codes when referring to a condition they would like to be placed on a planning application.
