Consent to display an advertisement

If you want to display an advertisement bigger than 0.3 square metres on the front or outside your property. You may need to apply for Advertisement Consent. This includes:

  • Your house name
  • House number
  • A "beware of the dog" sign.

Temporary notices

You may display a temporary notice up to 0.6 square metres relating to local events such as fetes and concerts. These can only be displayed for a short period.

Estate agents boards

There are different rules for estate agent boards. But in general these should not be bigger than 0.5 square metres on each side.
