Community involvement is a major part of the Local Development Framework (LDF) preparation process.
The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets the standards and approach that North Lincolnshire Council takes to involve stakeholders and the community in the production of the Local Development Framework (LDF), as well as the handling of major planning applications.
The aim of the Statement of Community Involvement is to:
- Help ensure community ownership of the LDF.
- Strengthen community involvement in planning.
- Involve stakeholders and the community in the production of the Local Development Framework.
- Improve the overall representation and involvement across all sections of the community.
